We cook! Our own recipe for bakery (without butter)


I was, for sure, absolutely wrong, when I thought it's impossible to bake something tasty without using such ingredients as butter or eggs. The secret of cooking tasty dietic, and unleavened bakery is of course, the dough. If you just mix water and flour, the dough will be tough, and not-quite-edible. But the solution can be, among others, the Phyllo dough - very thin dough. The most usual recipe of home-made Phyllo is water, flour, and a tiny bit of oil. Then, when adding the filling, butter is often used.

After some experimenting, I came up with a bit different recipe, where there is so much oil as water. It makes the dough a bit more crunchy. While the filling is a traditional apple-cinnamon strudel filling.
